About Us

We are transcending outdated psychotherapy practices by providing comprehensive and intuitive teletherapy to those who struggle with emotional, mental health and substance related difficulties. We offer individual, group and family therapy services from the comfort of your job, home or anywhere there is internet connectivity on our secure video conferencing platform. Our telehealth platform provides you or your loved one with live online access to an experienced licensed therapist at a convenient time. All of our providers are seasoned licensed professionals. We employ the services of licensed mental health counselors (LMHC’s), licensed clinical social workers (LCSW’s) and Ph.D. level psychologists with expertise in the range of mental health difficulties, alcoholism and substance abuse.

Why iRecovery

According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health conducted by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, 73.8 million adults in the United States had either a mental illness or substance use disorder.

21.0% of adults aged 18 or older (or 52.9 million people in the U.S.) struggled with mental illness and 5.6% (or 14.2 million people) experienced serious mental illness in the past year. An estimated 6.7% of adults aged 18 or older (or 17.0 million people) had co-occurring mental illness and a substance use disorder, and 2.2% (or 5.7 million people) had co-occurring serious mental illness and a substance use disorder.

However, less than half of those with mental health difficulties (46.2 %) received mental health services.

Approximately 10 percent of the over 40.3 million Americans who need treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) receive it.

There are multiple factors that create barriers to effective treatment, such as general lack of access to care, inability to afford treatment, lack of in-network providers who accept insurance, lack of adherence to treatment and, perhaps most critically, different lifestyle obligations that prevent individuals from entering in-person treatment. We bring the therapy experience to you, wherever you are, so you can receive the help you need to overcome recent or long-term difficulties.
