Monica Apanowicz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Graduating summa cum laude from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with a bachelor’s degree in social work, Monica went on to complete the advanced standing accelerated master’s program with honors from FAU. After earning licensure, Monica completed courses at the Academy of Addictive Disorders. Monica is a Master’s level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) through the Florida Certification Board, demonstrating expertise in addiction treatment. Monica has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse for 8 years with demonstrated capacity to provide compassionate, comprehensive care and creative application of theory-based interventions with additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Monica Apanowicz is EMDR trained and working towards specialization to better assist clients struggling with trauma and anxiety. Monica has a compassionate approach successfully assisting countless individuals in managing their emotional and psychological challenges.
